Central Park tennis courts rebuild after flood
ClientHorsham Rural City Council
Replacement of flood-damaged courts at Central Park Tennis Club in Horsham as part of the Horsham 6 tennis court project.
The region's tennis infrastructure had been decimated by the flood. The Horsham 6 tennis courts project presented challenges in scale, distance and unforeseen hurdles along the way. With extensive works required, it was critical to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.
Meticulous project management, good design, selection of excellent sub-contractors and establishment of a 2MH Consulting office in Horsham to oversee works saw successful design, tender and delivery of 28 tennis courts over a 12 month period, including these courts at Central Park Tennis Club.
"Thank you for the exceptional design and project management of our major tennis court projects involving 28 projects across six sites. Significant challenges included tight timeframes, development of quality designs to avoid variations, engagement with the community, and quality project management to ensure construction occurred according to requirements. We most certainly could not have done this without you. "
