Camperdown Playspace playground development

ClientCorangamite City Council
To design a destination playspace which offers sensory play opportunities in a natural setting with a theme inspired by the natural topography and geography of the region eg dry stone walls, and volcanos.

Project challenge

The challenge was to provide a balance between play values, and access, safety and value for money. The final design was to be constructed over 3 stages within a tight budget.

2MH solution

To investigate local skills and in-kind support which the Council could utlize to build a unique play space. Community involvement and ownership was very much key to the success of this new destination playspace.
