The Purpose of an Audit
Often long before design and construction commence, we complete work in order to investigate the viability of a project and assess requirements. We provide a range of exploration and evaluation services to make this process quick and efficient for local government and sporting group organisations.
Sports Court Audits
As a preferred supplier to both Netball Victoria and Tennis Victoria, 2MH Consulting conducts sports court audits throughout Australia. Sports court audits are a quick and effective way to inform the asset managers of the facilities condition, compliance with current standards, supporting infrastructure condition and adequacy of the intended facility use. The audits also include full maintenance, short-term repairs and capital works recommendations. We perform audits for sports courts including netball, tennis and basketball.
Sports Ground and Athletic
Sports ground audits are a quick and effective way to inform the asset managers of the facilities condition, compliance with current standards, supporting infrastructure condition and adequacy of the ground or track. The audits also assess the maintenance and recommend short term repairs and capital works to keep the current structure and surrounding area up to standard.
— Features & Levels and Title
2MH Consulting uses a group of qualified surveyors to undertake all of our features and levels surveying work. A first-rate licensed surveyor is also used for title survey work. 2MH Consulting insists – within our project specification documentation – that all construction is undertaken by a suitably skilled and qualified surveyor. An accurate and recent survey is recommended at the start of every project to provide an accurate foundation for the design.
The geotechnical engineers engaged by 2MH Consulting are all well experienced, and they are specialists within their field. 2MH Consulting can provide expert geotechnical advice, site investigations, report preparation and the provision of ongoing advice often required throughout a project’s progression.
Engineering – Civil & Structural
The consulting engineers, selectively resourced by 2MH Consulting, provide high-quality engineering advice. They prepare facility design concepts, prepare engineering reports, and undertake detailed design work for the team. Each of the engineering firms that 2MH Consulting works with has been educated explicitly on current standards applicable to all sports, and the requirements of the company’s unique clientele. Only reliable tried and tested engineers work with 2MH Consulting.
2MH Consulting can provide evaluations of the serviceability and the projected life expectancy of electrical pole structures and light towers via specialist scanning equipment. Written documentation and reporting is provided to the client highlighting risks and concerns encountered on-site, and guidance as to which assets will require replacing and when.
2MH Consulting provides expert assessment of tree health and safety implications for users of outdoor spaces. Arboriculture reports offer a cost-effective way to assess the current state of trees and highlight any required targeted works to maintain health and safety. Reports to determine the extent of tree protection zones and structural root zones, critical to any project that requires construction adjacent to trees and vegetation.
Where your project has potential environmental impacts or a regulatory requirement for environmental assessment, 2MH Consulting provides an end-to-end service. We can provide the expert assessment, required documentation and practical advice to navigate this process.
2MH Consulting brings to your project a wealth of horticultural expertise. We can advise what will grow well, what will stand up to wear and tear, which is cost-effective to maintain over time and where we can achieve water efficiencies. We design for visual impact, user amenity and ongoing sustainability.
We can manage all permit applications for your project. We have extensive experience working with local governments throughout Victoria, relevant State departments and applicable federal legislation. This is particularly beneficial for sporting groups that often do not have this expertise.
